The Art of Change: What, How do we and Should we?

Artist Sarah Carne will lead a high energy 2 day art course with a difference.

Over 2 days Sarah’s course will take children on lighthearted, mixed-media adventure into conceptual art and politics.

Using a range of media She will use art to develop a large scale collaborative project developing thinking and problem solving skills through art making.  Children will devise an interactive game that explores the choices we make and how our actions can make an impact.

Children will explore complex ideas at their own level and find out how their own voice can be validated in a fun, creative environment.

Parents and carers will be invited to play the game at the end…but will they make the right decisions?

Sarah developed The Art of The Game with Children’s Art School in 2015 and returns to develop a new course with a twist!

Dates: Thursday and Friday 1 and 2 June 2017

Venue: Donhead Preparatory School, Edge Hill, Wimbledon, SW19 4NP

Time: 9.30 – 4.30pm

Age 6-13*
