Children’s Art School: Pop up Print Studio

Join artist Nicole Line for a 2 day course in textiles and printing where you will experiment with a range of exciting techniques for creating a print and learn about a variety of contexts for this media.

In this hands on class, students will be shown practical ways to implement their ideas, push boundaries with their designs and experiment with a variety of equipment including a heat press and screen print.

You will experiment with:

Dye-sublimation printing, using a heat press to make your own colourful disperse paper dyes that can be transferred onto cloth.

Creating your own coloured paper using dyes, sponges and sprays.

Screen printing techniques, creating your own hand cut stencils to print with.

Adhering your designs onto a variety of fabrics using different techniques

Dates: Monday and Tuesday 30 and 31 March, 9.30-3.30pm
