Two days of exploring how to draw and conducting experiments into new ways to make great drawings!
The course will include drawing games that will challenge our eyes, minds and bodies, we will work in teams and on our own to create a portfolio of drawings. Children will build up a ‘tool kit’ of techniques in mark making, creating forms and capturing likenesses. This practical ‘tool kit’ and a playful approach will give children the confidence to tackle their own drawing projects.
A wide range of materials on a variety of scales will be used in activities that explore forms and likenesses, three dimensional shape and cityscapes.
Dates: Monday and Tuesday 30 and 31 July
