Stories and Characters

Ania Bas has been developing characters, situations and scenes with her group at Dundonald School.

She has been working with drawing, collage and paint to create fantastical creatures and placing them into different imaginary scenarios.

Here’s a reminder of how some of the characters began their lives.

Every session starts with drawing Annabel and the little chair! We encourage the children to look carefully! The small chair helps with scale.

Our collaged characters were copied and placed into an imaginary painted scene.

They were cut into 3 pieces once more and the children imagined how parts of them were hidden by other objects. Next week we will work together to gain new insights into our characters.
