Mapping Merton Park: collage

At Merton Park After School Club we began to incorporate some of the material we have gathered from our walks into a large collaged memory map.

A warm up activity involved completing a photograph cut in half from one of our walks to jog our memory

We then began to cut up copies of our drawings, photographs, maps and local leaflets to make a collaged memory map of the area.

We used pastels and pencils to add colour and link items together.

They are not quite finished yet – but we will add to them in a couple of weeks after we have been out walking and painting again!
