What makes you…you?

In this one off workshop for 9year old boys we looked at logo’s and designed one for ourselves.

We begun by checking our clothes for popular logo’s and talked about how these might have come about.

We then sketched ideas to show aspects of our lives.

What makes me…me?

We talked about sport, our place of birth and things we hold dear.

We combined and simplified our drawings and made them into our very own logo.

Once we were happy with our design we carved it into a polystyrene block.

Ready to print?

 We were ready to ink up our printing tile.

We loved rolling the ink and experimenting with the amount of ink to use.

We had to press hard and be very careful

We like a bit of mess!

We then transferred our skills and printed onto a t-shirt and a bag. We added a hand print to reference our unique personalised logo.

It felt good to paint our hand!
